Can someone show me the link where it has been discussed on here why Mobil 1 Extended Performance in 5w20 does not have the dexos rating on the front? I notice that 5w and 10w30 in regular Mobil do but not sure why the EP does not.

As far as I know no GM products require 5w20. So, there should be no requirement to have a dexos rating on the 5w20. I could be wrong, but I haven't seen any GM products needing 5w20.

Why don't you look it up? That will take a maximum of what, 10 seconds on their website?

And I know the answer, I'm just being difficult.

Mobil 1 5W-20 Extended Performance is dexos1 licensed. Use it and don't worry.

As far as what viscosity, use whatever the owners manual recommends. Pretty simple stuff.
