I'm not concerned about dilution- was just curious. I do a lot of short trips everyday- about 10-mile trips with stops and starts. My main goal is to try to get 300,000 miles out of this car.

10 miles is plenty. Advanced fuel economy 0w-30 is fine, but at the same price the ESP offerings have to meet more stringent Euro standards like MB 229.52 and BMW LL-04. ESP 5w-30 goes in all of my cars and I'm very happy with the niche it fills for being available on supermarket shelves.
