Mobil 1 diesel oil filters

has anyone used Mobil 1 oil filters on Diesel applications? specifically 7.3 Ford's and the Cummins filter?

are these decent filters for the applications?

Yup they are decent filters for the money. The pureone is also a great filter as is the baldwin 7039 for the stroker.

The fleetguard venturi is about the best full flow/bypass unit you can get but they are expensive

I have used M1 filters on my 12 Valve Dodge Cummins with no problem whatsoever. I ran it with M1 Truck & SUV diesel oil for 10K miles. I did not do a UOA, but no issues such as startup noise or pressure restrictions were evident.

welp I can get these filters for 13 bucks at pepboys. They can also be included with their current M1 special @ 30 bucks. I know my boss says he pays out the [censored] for those two diesel filters in the partsmaster application......

my thinking is, if I can get the oil change deal, and the Mobil 1 price is lower then his price.... then maybe I could sell him the filters for 10 bucks.... That would get me ow-40 at 4 bucks a quart...... nothing to pee yourself over but better then 7 bucks a quart

I would only do this if they are decent filters though, I would use them on a gasoline engine without a second thought, but I have no clue on the diesel applications
