Mobil 1 and corolla help

hey every one just wanted some help on the car I have. I currently drive a 96 Toyota corolla with 180000 and put Mobil 1 10w30 fully synthetic with purolator filter. Im trying to do 6000 OCI but after about 2500-3000 it starts to shake pretty badly and make a lot of engine noise. So I was wondering should I change oil brands or filters?

I'm almost 100% sure thats not oil related.

How was it on the previous oil?

I'm thinking thats something that just developed. I would check your motor mounts first, and possibly your plugs.

Is it due for a tune up?

Any more info on the car?

First, check your oil level. If it is OK, I doubt your problems are oil related.

the car runs smooth with new oil but after around 2-3000 miles it starts to shake badly. I only drive city streets and its only 5 miles back and forth from home to work. I changed the plugs, wires, distribution cap. I'll check the motor mounts.
