Yup. As long as it still cleans like it's supposed to, losing some PAO isn't that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things.Bad move imo, at least for the Bitog segment of the market. The average Joe will still remain clueless and I'm pretty sure that's their target market. The name of the game is making a profit, and sometimes cheapening a product to do so. The bottom line: that's the goal of any company on the planet that sells product or services.
Its $26 at Walmart, plus you get $4 Walmart cashMaybe thats why walmart dropped the price a little in their app.
Makes it the same as Mobil 1 Extended PerformanceYup. As long as it still cleans like it's supposed to, losing some PAO isn't that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things.
You talking overall formula or just PAO %? Former, no. The latter? Well, 5W-30 EP doesn't have PAO anymore and the 0W-20 still has 10-25%.Makes it the same as Mobil 1 Extended Performance
Overall I dont see much difference, presence of PAO in Mobil 1 Advanced Clean 5w-30 made it different enough for me vs Mobil 5w-30 EP.You talking overall formula or just PAO %? Former, no...latter, similar yes.
The cleaning ability is what you should be using it for, otherwise, use EP.Overall I dont see much difference, presence of PAO in Mobil 1 Advanced Clean 5w-30 made it different enough for me vs Mobil 5w-30 EP.
EP has very much the same cleaning abilities as per their marketing. Also, 9.75 cSt @ 100C is on the lower side of SAE 30, so this is a turn off alsoThe cleaning ability is what you should be using it for, otherwise, use EP.
How do you know it's the better cleaner and what other claims separate those 2 products? EP claims the same thing "cleans your engine in one change".The cleaning ability is what you should be using it for, otherwise, use EP.
No. SDS doesn't drive the product.I’m not familiar with the law in regards to SDS production and publication……..does this mean that any product bottled before the publication date of the SDS would have the older formula?
How would you know this? PAO isn't a cleaner. Whatever cleans in the formula isn't PAO.Makes it the same as Mobil 1 Extended Performance
Why would you have 2 oils that are the exact same? You wouldn't. We don't know much of anything yet since it's still fairly new but if you believe the marketing....that's how companies work. How do you know it's the better cleaner and what other claims separate those 2 products? EP claims the same thing "cleans your engine in one change".
