Mobil 1 10w-30 or Mobil 1 0w-40

My first pick is Truck & SUV 5w-40 but its not easily available. If I was going to stay with Mobil 1, should I switch to their 10w-30 or their 0w-40. I use it in gas engines that like xw-30 or xw-40. Regards, Brian

The 0w40 seems to be very a very good oil, given it's extensive OEM use by Porsche..... FWIW, my Town Car seems to like it.

M1's 10w30 HM is a great oil as well,robust..

Hi, brian - There are significant formulation similarities between M1 TDT 5W-40 and M1 0W-40 If TDT is not available then M1 0W-40 is a great choice. Many in EM would say that M1 0W-40 is a better product than TDT for use in petrol engines
