Mobil 1 0W40 in jugs?

I thought Mobil 1 0W40 was only available in 1 quart bottles. I bought three jugs today that are 4.83L/5.1 U.S.Qts.

This from Mobils FAQs:


Will Mobil 1 0W-40 be Available in Jugs?
Any possibility of making the Mobil 1 0W-40 in a 5-quart container?

That package size for Mobil 1 0W-40 is not currently in our plans.

I paid $17.99/jug. I bought it all.

Farm&Fleet has some sales w/rebate that puts it around $4.50 a quart. Not often, but Black Friday is approaching.

I don't think the OP really got M1 0W-40 for $18/jug.

I think he mixed-up and bought Mobil HM 10W-40 or even just Mobil 10W-40, and the jugs look similar.
