Mobil 1 0w20 = GM 4718M?

Holly cow! If the Corvette needs a 30 weight shouldn't that make this impossible?
GM says yes on the 0w-20 for 4718M. It wont be in the corvette that I dont own

That specification is NOT just for Corvettes, other GM cars use it also. You must also choose the correct weight, for Corvettes that is 5w30 or 10w30 depending on what your lowest expected temperature is going to be.
This is the oil spec for my GXP, but I'll likely be sticking with my SSO 0w-30.
Are there *any* GM vehicles that spec xW-20?

That spec has been on the bottles,this was question was posted before.
GM doesn't spec any of their cars for 0W20. I may try it in my Mustang GT though.

I would have no problem using a 0w20 in a new Corvette if GM decides to go that route in future engines. I doubt they would recommend it in the current series of engines, they were not designed to run on 20 weight oils. But in the future I bet the new engines will be designed this way.

No, it's recent. They had the old bottles and GM 4718M was not on the older bottle. The new one had it.
It was spec'd before,i remember reading about it here on the site,i thought it was on the bottle maybe not,sorry.

I've honestly never heard of any other GM engines calling for 4718M (unless they were Corvette LSx engines put into the Cadillac CTS-V or Trailblazer SS)

Just the higher performance vehicles. I know Corvette and I thought the higher end Camaro. I know my turbo Solstice GXP (and therefore the HHR, Sky, Ion and Cobalt with the same motor) calls for it and I wouldn't be surprised if a Cadillac or two does as well.

Some(all?) of the Cadillac lineup (CTS and STS and...?) require 4718M rated oil.
