I have no idea why it isnt available north of the 49th parallel. It seems like a perfect oil for Canada

. We get 0W40; how much trouble would it be to stock 0W30?

I e-mailed XOM Canada to ask about this oil a couple of years ago, and was told it would be on store shelves I think in July of last year, or the year before...

I guess the downturn cancelled those plans?

YES!!! and I have never seen a 5qt of the 0w-20. I really want to try that oil before PU has a 0w-02 available.

You can get it in qts.

No WAY!!! They want nearly $8 a quart for that stuff. $21 for a 5qt is cheap, singles are waaaay to expensive for M1. For that kind of money Id buy Royal Purple. Wish they would go back down to $6 a quart.

I noticed That XM shows this oil with a TBN of 8.5 as your sample shows 9.5. Is this the result of inaccurate VOAs as we have seen, or What? Any ideas?

Don't know where your your purchasing M1 0w20 for $8....
Mobil 1 0w20 quarts are $6.34 at my Central Oregon WalMart.

As you know..we have no sales tax in Oregon. So if you go to WM, it should be about $7 with sales tax. Next time your in Oregon...buy some and save the tax.

Someone I know is going across the border to Lake Placid New York. He is willing to pick me up some of the M1 0W30 AFE. Which retail stores is likely to have it in stock?
