Mobil's newer Euro X4 ESP 0w-40 VOA. I had them test AN & BN as well. 👀

Thanks for sharing. Boron is a little lower than the other VOA. This oil only has 1,429ppm of Ca as a detergent, but they also claim it uses next gen cleaning agents. Some POE based on oxidation value. Better VM than FS 0w40 too. It's a really good oil, as also evident by the specs it meets.

I noticed the lower Boron as well & not sure how much they target but now seems to be >178 to <300. Obvious lab variance going on. Oxidation value speaks for itself & the LSjr video showed the previous x3 version did really well holding it's viscosity from shearing. I'll assume this isn't going to be any worse than that. It looks similar to FS except for no Magnesium in this x4 & better base oil. I know it took some time to get results but the post office & the lab drug their feet. I let them hear it too. "2 business day turnaround" they say..ha!

The VOA doesn't tell almost anything. I've used this oil before, and it's very good, and it even cleans carbon deposits and varnish. It has Mobil's latest generation of detergents and dispersants.

are there any applications where this is not an upgrade over the regular M1 FS euro?
• Mobil 1™ ESP X4 0W-40 can only be used in the vehicles for which it is approved. It is not backward compatible with vehicle engines requiring a C30 or C20. ***

• Mobil 1™ ESP X4 0W-40 cannot be used in Porsche GT engines. There is a separate Mobil 1 product for GT engines, MOBIL 1™ C40 GT 0W-40.

Help me understand. It meets or exceeds ACEA C3 and API SP, it can be used in any vehicle calling for either of those, correct?

Cleaning carbon deposits and varnish is a very specific claim. Are you sure about that?
