Mixing two different brands in one can?

It might come to shock some of you guys, but I got no brand loyalty. I get what ever I see in Walmart on sale or when I need it. I try to stick to VP 2stroke oil, but sometimes I try different things.
So I had some of that Walmart black max oil that I'm finishing up and only has enough to mix 1 gallon. I usually mix a two gallon can that will last me a while. Instead of just mixing 1 gallon I added Evinrude XDS XD50 (synthetic blend outboard 2 stroke oil) to make up 2 gallons. Walmart had them on clearance for $7 a quart and I got 3 quarts. Ran a tank of new mix on my BR800, and while blowing the leaves I had time to wonder. Does it make much of the difference mixing two "different" type of oils? After about solid 2 hours of WOT it didn't blow up. I want to say it kind of ran smooth. Maybe because of fresh fuel? But both black max and Evinrude are synthetic blends.
Would you run that in your OPE?

With 2 Cycle I could not see how mixing brands of oil would be much different than mixing brands of gas?

Way back in my teen years when we had a very old and out of tune 2 stroke 115 HP Mercury on a ski boat we knew we could get 3 hours of water skiing for $20 of gas and that $20 of 1980's money was hard to come up with for three broke teens and a long weekend at the lake cabin ahead of us. Back then beer money was more important than oil.

That engine was lucky to get ANY oil mixed in the gas with our budget! We would buy and mix anything as it was as simple as buy the least expensive gas station oil and the least expensive gas and mix it thin...

Gonna run fine. Besides it's 40 or 50 to one. Can't make any difference. Fresh fuel: Fuel loses octane over time.

BITOG obligatory - It's totaled.

Next leaf blower you must use at least 3 different ones to keep the universe in equilibrium.

Yeah, like everyone said no issues, rock on.
