Mixing Redline SL1 with fuel stabilizer

The car is currently in storage for the winter along with a full tank of gas and a bottle of fuel stabilizer.

I wanted to add a bottle of Redline SL1 into this tank once I start driving it in late May.

What do you guys recommend? Should I wait till I'm doing this tank, than add some SL1 or am I OK to put some in it right away?

Go for it, I've done it, and had my son do it when he took his car out for the first time after his deployments. He had stablizer and a qt of MMO in a full tank of gas before he deployed, no problems at all with the RL SL1 in the tank with that mix. The car sat anywhere from 6-9 months at a time. HTH

Thanks a lot Demar- I've got a developing "tick" on the WS6 after 4.5K rpm's and I figured I'd give her some RL SL1 to try. Wouldn't hurt anything anyways, considering it sits way too often.

Would it be good practice to throw another bottle in the tank mid way through the summer, or better closer to her hibernating period?

The RL can be used again during the summer. Then when she goes back to sleep, I'd get a qt of MMO go to the gas station dump in the entire qt and fill her up. Take her home make it at least a 20 minute run, and prep her for hibernation. The MMO will prevent flash rusting in the combustion chamber and cylinder walls, it will keep the injectors lubed, and prevent them from sticking, etc. PM me if you like and I can tell you how we set my son's car up for his deployments.

I honestly don't know what the tick is from. It may be due to the fact that I only put 91 oct in her last summer. The summer prior to that, she ran mint on 94 oct with no ticks.

It's only on WOT past 4-5K rpm's.

Sorry but what is MMO that you put in before the car sleeps.
