Hey guys I haqvent figured out how to post pics but as requested I checked the spark plugs and 3 and 4 have oil all over them from the tip to the mid section where the nut is to tighten then. Smells burnt. I know it is oil because it is dark brown and smells burnt and it covers the plugs from the tip all the way up the threads. #4 is really drenched and number #3 has oil too but not as bad. I do have a P0304 error code (misfire cylinder 4) and a P0304 Pending code which means it is on going and current. What does it mean when there is oil on the plugs? What does it mean when there is little oil on the plug versus a lot? What can I do to fix it or test it?
I have a constant misfire in cylinder 4. It cant be coolant because I use 50/50 mix and it is green, plus it is fresh because coolant was replaced two days ago.
Anyone who can help, it would be greatly appreciated.
Also if it is oil on plugs etc and it is just a gasket, is it something I can fix myself or is it so complex that I NEED to pay a mechanic. Im pretty handy and follow directions well. Any and all tips are welcome. Thanks guys.
