minor "shake" from 52-55 mph

The 02 saturn sl just got new tires cooper cs 4. Engine s smooth nothing seems out of wack. Suspension checks good.
I noticed I get a slight vibration / jiggle at the speeds mentioned above. The vibration is felt mostly through.my gas leg. What it feels like is my calf and thigh are jiggling slightly itstops smooth and drives smooth to. Turning does not make a difference. Clutch in just rolling didnt seem to make a change either, hard to tell though since my accelerator foot has to be moved off the pedal to do that.
tires look an feel ok. Also the steering wheel inputs are great no random shakes or anything. Im confused by this? All help is appreciated.

Hmmm. Sounds like a resonance at that speed. I'd guess that a balance weight is just slightly incorrect in placement or weight - so it's not always felt but shows at certain speeds.

Did you get two or four?

Had a blowout due to FOD in the road, and needed just one pilot exalto as. The tread on the other three is practically 100%, but having one newer tire definitely was noticeable for about the first 300 miles after which it seems to roll the same as the others.

Go back and get your tires rebalanced. Even if you didn't buy lifetime balancing, the retailer will most likely be glad to balance them again.

If you have aftermarket wheels, or wheels that were on another car, you may need hubcentric rings.

Smart money would be to bring the car back and get the tires balanced properly....
Then find another shop with competent people who can do a Simple job like a tire and balance install.

Sometimes a new tire will need a re-balance after it has run for a bit .

all four.my wife in the passenger seat cannot feel it. I can feel it in my legs

Struts still good? I'd think an out of balance wheel would be felt above a certain speed, but from that speed and up. If it is at a certain speed I have to wonder if the dampening is subpar. I'd start with rebalancing but I'd check the struts too.

Like already said, take it back and have them rebalance the tires. Ask if you can be present at the balancer and look at the inside bead of the rim and watch to see if any of them are now out of round.

You likely have a slightly bent rim on the driver's side front of your vehicle. Just installed my new winters this weekend and noticed that two of my rims were out of round and I've been fighting the 55-70 mph shakes forever.

I am getting them rebalanced today. But the car had no issues until tires were replaced. The p4's were smooth.
