Mini Cooper 5 spd vs 6 spd

I test drove a convertible (the only car they had with a manual) w/5 spd and an S coupe w/6 spd. I think I enjoyed the 5 spd more but went in excited about the 6 spd. The S was fun to stomp on the gas but I wasn't able to drive it as smoothly. May just take some getting used to it but have a nagging feeling I may like the 5 spd more. Anyone here have a 6 spd? Thoughts? I may have to take a longer test drive. Like the handling on both of them.

Which transmission is better for you depends on what type driving you do and your driving style. I'd probably pick the 5 speed for myself, but I would certainly do some comparative test driving before making a decision.
