Any reviews or opinions on Milestar tires?
Considering buying the Milestar MS70 since it is
inexpensive at Sears. UTQG is 300 A B so that much
is good.
Sound off!

I put 4 on my Milan last July. I had 15,000 on them when I took them off to put my snow tires on this fall.
I like them. They road nice and quiet. No balancing problems.
Handle rain and grooved roads very well. They are much better than the rock hard tiger paws they replaced. They were inexpensive to purchase and look to me they would last up ward of 40 to 50,000 miles.
I will be very glad when the snow is gone and I can get them back on the car.

Really?! Is this post a joke? Look for other threads. I would never put that junk on my car. Spend more and be safe. Tires are your only contact with the ground, why be cheap? Milestar tires are cheap.

Get real tires.

What kind of car do you have? What size tires do you need?

Kumho, Hankook, and Falken make quality tires at relatively affordable prices.

If you drive mostly in city and accumulate less than 8-10k miles a year then it's okay. If your drive is mostly highway at speed up to 75-80 MPH or more than 10-12k miles a year then a set of tires with higher than 400 AA is better.

I've never heard of them. Buy something known, used by many, of better quality. Go cheap on somethin else.

UTQG ratings are all kind of [censored]. The treadwear rating isn't comparable among different brands at all.

I think that the mileage warranty is a better comparison point.

With that said, I agree with everyone else, without knowing more about the application and budget, I'm inclined to suggest looking for a slightly higher end tire. It is the only connection a vehicle has with the ground.

Look around, you can get decent tires for a great price when on sale. Places often have $70 off or a Buy 3 Get 1 free deal.

+1000

The only people that buy those are used car dealerships. The customer whines about the tires, dealership puts on the cheapest thing imaginable, then adds $400 to the backside of the loan and donates the extra $200 profit to the Vegas slot machine charity.

Have you tried adding your preferred size to cart? Seems like a bait and switch if they're out of stock, which happens often.

How about the Bridgestone Turanza passenger car tire (not high performance) that has a rating that ranges from 260-320, which has NO mileage warranty?

Better or worse than the Milestar?

Linglong and Nankang are other brands that should be considered.

None of the above mentioned will I knowingly have installed on my cars. Scares the tar out of me with all the semis outfitted with Linglongs.

It's a Bridgestone... It's automatically better than the no name tires.

You'll kick yourself after the cheapo tires end up costing you more re balancing them over and over only to find out they're going to shake and vibrate no matter what.

thats a [censored] bridgestone that was an oem tire.

they dont call them turdenzas without reason.

that being said.. I would take it over milestar

At least look at falken tires. Look at the sincera sn 211. 80,000k touring tire. Better than the Nankang Rubber Tire co.

What size are you looking for?
