Friend of mine just bought 18’ F-150 with 3.5 engine, 4WD truck. Obviously the quick lube it was at the techs don’t know what correct filter is. Judging by oil change sticker; oil and filter had 5,544 on it. Didn’t look at OLM either. 39,989 on truck. I put correct 10575 Fram ULTRA filter and some M1 5w30 from the stash.

Tecselect is mighty's ecomony line. I find it funny myself that an economy parts company has an economy line. T48 is actually correct per Mighty for that application. They consolidate the long and short filter into one filter.

Well MIGHTY is jacked up if ya ask me. I hate when iffy lines do this 💩💩

Our location even uses correct ECOGARD for KIA/Hyundais. The actual correct filter # is or should be 10575 or we used to use Auto Extra 57502. ProTune at $1.90/filter we now use where 22500/57502 called for since Auto Extras tear often

So MIGHTY cheap out. What a piece of filth they are. Note to me: never ever use a iffy Lube shop then

Looks to be a Champ Labs made ecore with a combo valve. Very similar construction to a recently posted STP filter c&p and some/many Super Tech ST series filters.

Not much information on T48 cross reference but as noted in a previous post, SOP for many quick lubes and some indies to downsize and consolidate applications, e.g,, 7317 to 6607. Suspect that's what happened here. No fan the combo valve, but what I can see looks like it survived the fci.

Thanks for c&p.
