I have a Panasonic MW the big counter top type. Actually have two and they are 22 years old and get used hard...been bulletproof.

Easy to clean and they are But
I warmed up Chinese food in one a few times and it stinks...really stinks when you cook...bad....

I was thinking of nuking some cinnamon sticks in it...seems to be in the fan area or ????
Any ideas? No smell at all unless you turn it on as it is spotless inside.

Seafood combination
Shrimp..scallops. Lobster..shrooms and more veggies...no broccoli though.
that could do it

Seafood smells, Chinese food or otherwise :poop:

If you had just heated up some fried rice or chicken and broccoli, there wouldn't be any problem at all :sneaky:

Might be the MW brand
My father used to do the same for years on a Samsung...never happened to him...weird..thanks.

most microwaves are made by the same company, regardless of the brand name listed. At least 50% of microwaves are made by Galanz :sneaky:

We have a Panasonic as well. A lot of things steam up inside. In those cases we don’t close the door all the way.

Dampen a paper towel with water and the cinnamon sprinkled on it and microwave that for thirty seconds. If you have food buildup inside this will loosen that up for easier cleaning.

If your food is in an open container, cover it with a paper towel (say, 2 or 3 connected sheets if needed) when microwaving. This cuts the food odor and eliminates splatter making a mess. I wrap the paper towel around the container so the container sits of the ends of the towel to hold it in place.

A good way to make yourself unpopular at work is to leave exploded food residue in a microwave.
