The Office Student and Teacher Edition 2003 I have comes with:

"New multi-PC-household benefit: Install Office Student and Teacher Edition 2003 on up to three PCs in your home without having to buy extra licenses."

So even though my mom probably installed it on her computer back home, it should not be a problem!

I'm not sure what causes this but I have seen it happen to serveral of our work computers.

We always do the repair from a network shared folder with the office files on it.

I am currently using open-office on a few computers. It gets the job done and it can be used to work with Word, Excel and Powerpoint files.

Tried to access Microsoft Office today (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, etc...) and it WILL NOT let me do anything.

As soon as it loads up (in any of the applications and where you can actually see the application), the "Windows Installer" box opens up and says it needs an installation disk.

It's already installed though!

After you press cancel, it says that it is not installed for the current user. I'm the only person that uses this computer though!

What in the world in going on here?
