Micronair is a major OE supplier. Most factory cabin filters are Micronair. The date code is 21/08/01, so I would guess it was made on 08/01/21
Doing a few basic services on it to establish a base line going forward. It came out of a 2019 4.3 V6 Silverado I bought last week with 69,000 miles. Whether original factory or replaced in 21, thats a lot of gunk.

With the filter that loaded up I'll bet airflow will be improved! Yuck.

Exactly! We bought the truck 5 days ago and the wife and I commented how weak the blower was, even on high. I was thinking the freon might need checking but I just installed the new cabin filter and drove around the block with the A/C blasting. At least a 25% improvement. (y)
