In reading some of his posts, its appears the guy is a veteran of c&p. Sometimes it's hard to read between the (sparse) lines. Here, I didn't feel the need for hand-holding.
Now, the reason I wanted to see the spring is to avoid buying and cutting one for no reason. I have a sneaking suspicion that all of the Asian PG long life filters are not that much different from one another, despite so much differing information about filter efficiency.
This Microgard uses a leaf spring. Most PGI extended life filters use a coil spring instead. What needs to be looked at so closely on this Microgard leaf spring?
