Last week I was in another vehicle other than my own, putting gas in the tank, and dropped my own keys on the tarmac and drove away.
A few hours later I returned to the gas station, and they had my keys inside, but my small thumb drive, that was just big enough to house a MicroSDHC card was no longer on my keychain.
I only had Music files on the Card. No personal Data. I had not actually used or updated the card for a year or 2. It was from my old Phone.
Before I got the new phone I stored my magnets on a magnet, a very strong one which would only attract the MicroSD card holder and the keyring itself.
After I got a new phone and stored the old SDHC card in the key chain holder, I often wondered if the strong magnetic field would corrupt the files on the card.
I never tried to see, but now I wonder if Whomever decided to take my Storage card off my keychain could access the files on it.
What do you think.... Will a strong magnet a few MM away from a SDHC card corrupt it?
