Michelin PS4S dethroned

Unless they discontinue the ECS I don’t see the full line of this tire coming over here, which is unfortunate.
It may be a king that never comes to the USA.

True. More than unlikely they'll ever sell the SC7 in the US.

'Dethroned' isn't anything new btw.. Both GY Eagle Supersport and BS Potenza Sport already excelled the PS4S especially on a dry track. That said, the PS4S still is an d a m n good allrounder.

That is disappointing. My 13 GT500 came with Eagle F1 tires, they lasted 10K and I don't track the car. I replaced them with MPSS, which are no longer made. The MPSS are a much better tire (on my car at least) than the F1s were. The MPSS have 15K on them now and probably have 2/3rd of the tread still.

.
I too still run the PSS on two of my cars. One is poor in the wet (HN/Hyundai spec) and
one is excellent in the wet (*/BMW mark). Obviously it depends, not all PSS are the same.

The Potenza Sport basically evaportates when it sees a track though... almost nobody will track that tire due to the dismal wear rates.

Wouldn't a Cup2 be more of a match against the GY eagle suspersport?
