I think the next step would be to imprison the animal shelter staff because they kill thousands of cats and dogs every year.

he did it, got caught, was punished, now it's time to move on.

What? He serve more time than drunk driver and drug abuser, but weren't allowed back in the game?

there are usually other illegal activities at dog fights as well . Don't forget he was found to have a bottle with an hidden compartment for stowing away substances while at an airport . Seen where the STEELERS are considering him . He's over rated anyways . FALCONS did find with his departure .

if people would get their pets spayed wouldn't be as many put down . All starts with the individual . Another reason shelters / vets are swamped with animals is due to the economy . Doesn't include all cats / dogs that are left behind at foreclosed homes or dumped off or even executed by people . HUMANITY ? Noticed a kitten in the median of an interstate that someone had dropped off . Had a difficult time getting due to fast moving traffic and tall grass . When finally caught it put it in car and took to a local vet that took it in . Amazed it hadn't been hit before I found it . P*sses me off

My vegan friends would say I deserve what I did to chicken and beef last night.

Pro football players were never known for their high moral standards or deep intelligence.
Vick got a harsh sentence. A very harsh sentence. Everything is way overboard nowadays.

Food animals like them, vegetables hate them.

Yeah, it seems like semi-trivial stuff is blown out of proportion and the important stuff is ignored...
I'd think he probably got one of the longest sentences for dog fighting ever for someone without a serious criminal past.

some who abuse / torture / kill dogs or cats or both are known to step up to humans . Practice makes perfect .

Good point, but we haven't punished those ahead of him as severely, unfortunately.

I think what he did to those dogs was disgusting and horrible.
I think he served adequate time in jail. I was actually surprised he got 18 months.
I gotta say the thought of this guy signing a multimillion dollar contract make me ill.
Do you think any team will take a chance on him?
The public backlash could be huge.
I don't really fault the NFL because they probably don't have grounds to keep him out (with all the other felons in the league)
I'm a huge football fan but I hope he never plays again...

It's quite hilarious some NFL teams want nothing to do with him

Yup, I dont think he should be allowed back in the NFL either.

I will not support or watch any team that he plays for. I hope no team hires him but I know one will.

+1
