MG motors

A friend on mine's older sister had a MG Midget. She loved it, and all of us teenagers were always steering at her car (or her).

What made the MG Midget work for her was her Dad. Her Dad grew up super poor, and learned to fix just about anything, and I mean anything. One of those very rare birds, he could look at anything mechanical and know what was wrong and what to do about it. He spent many days keeping that MG running for his Daughter.

I think sometime in the future I will start a thread about her Dad.

GON, he must have been an expert at fixing Lucas electrics.

When I think of MG I think of Midgets (I owned one) or B types or B-GT types. I don't think of another Hyundai, Kia or Mazda lookalike.

I see them running the roads in China. Breaks my heart. Like Astro, I rented one in the UK. The only thing I loved about it was the emblems.
