No, my thoughts were to permanently leave the problem hole/bolt in and drain from the second bolt. Most of the oil come out from that one and then I can insert a tube through that hole and suck out the forward part of the one pan.

Maybe I'll pick these up tomorrow, the store is local. They're coated also.

Any magnet experts here? Think these are sufficient to hold metal flakes when placed on the outside of the pan?
