Skip the intention of 300k with recent Euro and think shorter term. 150k-200k is more a reasonable goal and be pleasantly surprised maybe 200k+.

I ended up with Mercedes because BMW seemed to have more electrical glitches and the car I liked was just easier to find.
BMW interiors look incredibly cheaply made as compared to Mercedes-Benz.
I actually think BMW has nicer interiors than Benz.

Im not hinting for $300 difference annually in fuel grade but the problem thats stays with the car after the lease is expired; how many people who lease premium vehicles follow up with the requirement of premium fuel use, perhaps 5%; meanwhile, the car has already started to see the residue in the fuel system due to lower octane fuel

I'm thinking he was just joking about the fuel expense. Not everyone on here is poor. If you do your research they're fine, I own 2 used ones out of warranty.
I'm also not really sure you understand what octane is. There's lots of people out there that bought used ones with no fuel or engine issues and have high mileage. Oh, it also only needs 91, but gas stations on the east coast tend to have 93.

GLA isn't no where near the ML/GLE and GL/GLS. It was IMO a knee-jerk reaction by Mercedes against the Lexus NX/BMW X1(and the Mini Cooper Countryman by extension)/Audi Q3 just like I feel the CLA was to complete against the ES/MKZ/ATS.
It's built on a joint Daimler-Nissan platform that also formed the basis for the Infiniti Q30/QX30.

I read a little bit of it and didn't think that some of those complaints were valid. Yellowed headlights seem somewhat common on many brands of cars.
