I need to change the coolant on my '71 Cougar and several antique tractors built in the 40s-50s era. Menards has their house-branded coolant with the ingredient list of: Ethlene Glycol (107-21-1), Diethylene Glycol (111-46-6), Dipotassium Phosphate (7758-11-4), Water (7730-18-5), Corrosion inhibitors, Silicates, Defoamer and Dye. I picked up a couple gallons of this concentrated antifreeze for $8 a gallon a couple of months ago.
Is this a good antifreeze for the applications or should I get the traditional Zerox green?
