Men with cellphones in supermarket

Most of the time when I see men shopping alone, it's usually when the wife is taking care of the kids or some other task. My son does the shopping in his little outfit. My wife and I typically shop together although she'll do it alone without complaint. It's a chore, but we really kinda look forward to the event. She gets to roll her eyes at my advanced pre-senior moments and, as she refers to it, "yabbling" (yacking and babbling) ..and I descreatly threaten to grab her in front of others in a very barbaric manner. I then remind her that she still bears the Roman slave bangels and there is no escape from her bonds (said as Lady Jessica said it in Dune)...so she might as well make the best of it....

If left to our own devices at the grocery store, men would come back with steak, beer, and little else.

cause these guys are whipped dolts... they do the shopping cause they were told to, they call to consult to prove to their wives just how much they will bow down...

just as bad as people chit chatting on a phone while the operate a 2+ ton chunk of steel down the street.... they can't do both, and they prove it...one or the other. 40mph in the fast lane cause they have to chat

LTVibe- good point. I've seen the same thing when I used to work at Lowe's in the hardware department. Women making multiple trips to get what the hubbie wants, I always wondered why they didn't do their own shopping for hardware. What did people do before cell phones??

use their brain to make their own decision....it's crazy, we were almost extinct until the cell phone came around
