I have used this 4 times on my 1994 camry 514,192 miles in some nasty winter weather in ohio. Camry is red and shows dull after about 4-5 years. This is the only thing that seems to bring back the new shine look and seems to protect the car for an extended period of time. It goes on with little effort and wipes off the same, with a clean soft towel, 2nd light buff for max shine. Highly recommend for dull cars.

Yes, that's exactly what it is. A direct competitor to NuFinish and F2001. Ask Mike Phillips and he'll prolly tell you the same thing.

Clipped and pasted straight from Meguiars.com:

Meguiar’s® COLORX® is the tested and proven system to restore deep color and gloss from your oxidized or contaminated paint finish. Helps remove fine scratches and swirl marks too. Our polish and wax combination will dramatically revive brilliant color and add a long lasting protection that locks in the shine.

Sounds like NuFinish to me.

ColorX is nothing more than a very effective cleaner wax. Meguiar's makes no claims similar to that of NuFinish "the once-a-year car polish". That is the line from NuFinish, Meguiar's makes no such claim for longevity and, quite frankly, I don't buy NuFinish's claim anyway. Nor anyone else who claims their product will last a full year - too darn many variables to make such a broad statement.

But ColorX is very, very good at what it does.

Well, no need to get Mr. Phillips involved, he is busy enough as it is. The other Mike will do though I suppose. (Hey Mike! Good to see you over here too!) Not much more that I'd add to that other than as far as being a competitor, obviously it is. That does not make them the same thing! If you like, ask Mike P. and let me know what he says. I know it won't be "they are the same thing."
