I was in Target the other day and saw Meguiar's Ultimate Wash & Wax. I know the trusted name of Meguiars but is this one of those too good to be true cases?

I bought my truck four months ago and I have used this wash each weekend since I got it. I think as wash and wax products go it is probobly one of the best that is readily available. After I bought the truck I washed it and used their ultimate liquid wax. I use the wash and wax each weekend and the ultimate spray wax every other weekend. The water beads VERY well and this regimen has left no residue on my trim. Since using the wash and wax I have not had to use a glass treatment as it appears to bead water off of the glass rather well also. The Megs Ultimate line might lack the longevity of some of the boutique brands but if you have the time to wash regularly I feel they are tough to beat.

Is it the bright yellow thick snot consistency wash? I have that, and it is a decent soap and does make the car look "waxed" until it rains two or three times. For the small price increase, you get a better looking car when you're done washing it. It just lasts about a tenth as long as an actual waxing lasts. The only time I don't use it is when I'm actually going to wax the car after the wash.
