I think I saw that stuff at Kmart for like $3 bucks last week, I haven't used anything from turtle wax in 5+ years.

There's no reason to even try anything else. Really!

it is [censored] good stuff...I have two gallons of gold class to use up this summer then, I am back to the zip wax for sure. The mothers cali gold stuff is awesome too but hard to find if they even make it anymore.

I have a friends that buy into every marketing gimic. And they pay alot for them with poor results. Or should I just say they pay more than the rest of us for products that don't deliver what is claimed.

IT'S CAR WASH SOAP! It's supposed to "HELP" clean the paint and rinse away the grime with lots of suds. Sometimes the suds is misleading on just how the product works and sometimes the suds is a perception of how the soap is cleaning.

Some car wash soaps have in them, more slippery serfactants/silicones than other products, which help with water beading. And others clean w/o leaving the finish as smooth as the owner would like.

I use any name brand car wash soap on sale. I don't use dish washing liquid as I have seen the long term results with continued use and it's not good. Once in a while won't hurt or be noticable but all the time will dry out the paint terrably if the paint isn't waxed enough/alot! I may use a squeeze once in a great while to attack a tough spot but, that's all! And people need to be very careful of strong soaps such as Purple Power and Simple Green at their full strength. Their fine when diluted and for their intended purpose.

I haven't tried ZipWax in years and I don't remember how it worked when I did use it. Maybe I'll give it another try when I need to buy again. I'd buy the Meguiar's too if it's a good price per it's unit. Ya know, a couple of dollars for a gazallon!
