Actually, according to Nick Winn (product and training specialist at Meguiar's) for best results UFF should be allowed to cure for 12-24 hours before adding another layer.

Interesting, do you have the thread? I recall when it came out it was advised that additional layers wouldn't do much more than ensure more even coverage.

I detail part time for extra money and like to use the old standby, Meguire's Gold Class Carunuba wax and then follow it up with Meguire's Fast Finish. It really help the gold class wax last longer. The thing is I am finding it harder and harder to find the Fast Finish at brick and motor stores.

You can layer the fast finish on top of you're favorite wax though.

Yes, I know. Meguiar's recommends the same.

It's a very long thread, but has tons of great info on UFF:

Thanks! I've been meaning to become a member over there. It's a wealth of information.

I really like how Meguiar's has always had their technical representatives being very active members on that forum and answering many questions in great detail. Their customer service is excellent!

+1

Literally just came in from outside and using Meguiar's UFF.

It is everything I was looking for after detailing my car. The depth goes to infinity. The paint looks so wet, it makes you wonder how it's sticking to the car. Everything else looks dry and outdated.

I'm going to AA and AZ and buy every can on the shelves before it disappears or the formula changes. I will never be without a can of this stuff. I've never felt the need to endorse something, anything, until now. If you offer advice and don't recommend UFF, you have no idea what you're talking about. It's mesmerizing. It looks like you can stick your arm into a body panel up to your elbow. I can't imagine any paint product better than UFF. When I first participated in this forum, this is the product I was hoping someone would recommend. I discovered it through reading the forum.

To backtrack, I washed with Detail soap, dried, applied Ultimate Liquid Wax, then the UFF. I thought it looked great before the UFF, but after? WOW! I'm no chemical engineer, I don't know what's in it, but if you want the greatest looking car on the road, use UFF.

2019 Cadillac with Stellar Black Metallic. And it is now stellar.

I just went back and re-read the entire thread. If you look at the pictures in the OP, that's the result I got. The front door to my house is about 30' away from where the car is parked and I can easily see my reflection. I can't help but to stare at it and I don't really care about such things. Amazing.

Here is what mine looks like with a combination of UFF and the Ultimate Quick Detailer on top. It just glows! UFF is on sale at Canadian Tire right now and even though I have two full cans I am going to buy another.

Thanks! I'd like to try topping it off with Meguiar's Ultimate Quick Wax sometime, as I've heard a lot of people say that amps up the shine a tiny bit better than Ultimate Quick Detailer does. (although I can't really complain about what's working for me so far!)

Here's another couple of dark slash black cars claiming how great some spray on wax can be. Go to the junkyard. Get a panel from a red 1968 Ford Galaxy HOOD. Apply your "WOW" which is "wax of the week" miracle product. Then submit your pictures here.

Show us the same products on a 1972 Farmall tractor.

Why would I? I'm looking to use a product that works on the vehicles I drive, that's the only thing that truly matters. How many of us even own a 1972 Farmall tractor? And if we did, why would we care if it was shiny??
