Meguiars Hyper-Wash

I bought a gallon of this stuff right from Meguiars for about $25/gallon. My Review follows:

It is extremely concentrated at an awesome 400:1, yes that's right, 400:1. Translating into with that 1 gallon of Hyper Wash, you can make 401 gallons of Car wash at full dilution. You only need 1oz per 5 gallons of water. It smells very nice(but not so strong that it gets stuck in your nose for 3 days) Very thick, and goeey! It comes with a pump that you screw onto the gallon jug. 1 full pump = 1oz of product. THIS IS ALL YOU NEED!! Meguiars recommends 1 pump per 5 gallons and believe me, there not kidding!

It holds it's suds and lubricity throughout the entire wash. It will not degrade and best of all, the shine it leaves behind is absolutely incredible! Water just beads off the surface just like a fresh wax job. It will not hurt rubber and if you didn't rinse very well for whatever reason, no problem! Hyper-Wash will not hurt the trim. I highly recommend this wash and at 400:1 for $25 gallon, it's an excellent deal. Meguiars Hyper-Wash is my choice car wash from now on. Happy Detailing,,,,AR

Saw a Kragen ad for Meguiar's Deep Crystal car wash for $3 for half gallon. At a quarter of the cost (dilution unknown), any opinions?

Eh, it's "OK". I think the Meguiar's Gold Class shampoo is better, much richer lather and "slicker" feel to the wash water vs. the Deep Crystal.

Thanks Tosh, didn't catch that before. The Deep Crystal smells nice as most Meguiars products do, it suds up nicely and decent lubricity. The suds lasted through the wash but they were detoriating at the end. I prefer car washes that have a thick, gooey like consistency, smell is not really big factor for me, and just glides over the surface when washing,,,,,AR

For those wanting to apply a sealant after the wash it is not desirable for a wash to leave behind anything. Some wash soaps appear (and some proclaim to on their label) to leave behind some sort of coating that enhances shine.

That may be fine and dandy for some but I, a hard-core cadre of Liquid Glass sealant, wants a wash soap that is designed to cleanse then depart along with the rinse water.

Be gone!!!!!! ye ****able soap!!!!! Depart!!!! Remove thineself from mine presence!!!!!!

Yeah, like that.

Neighbors do look at me quizzically, though.
