Meg DC step 1&2 with liquid glass

01 odyssey silver color.
Have been using NXT. decided to change to Liquid Glass because of durability. also no time to wax the car monthly. Have tried LG on another car & is impressed with its durability.
Thinking of using remaining deep crystal step 1 and 2 to remove the wax and polish it before applying liquid glass. Kind of doubtful since step 1 and 2 contains oil (I think). Will it prevent liquid glass from bonding to the paint?
any opinion?

Step 1 is a chemical polish with a bit of abrasive in it. It will remove most all waxes and sealants. It'll be fine prior to LG.

Step 2 is a glaze comprised mostly of oils and fillers. LG won't bond with it so I'd skip this step but it does work well with waxes.

I'd suggest using Step 1 follow up with LG on a panel and see how you like the results.

I've done something similar. I've used Zymol auto polish(blue liquid) as a 'step 1' prior to using LG(..ran out of LG precleaner). LG seemed to apply and buff out just fine.

Thanks. Will try it this week.
Am convinced about LG. Moved to Houston from Tulsa 2 years ago. My abused (wax once in the last 3 years) 96 Camry's clear coat started peeling. My office is near to refinery and chemical plants.
Tried wax from Walmart (NXT and mother cleaner wax), but little help until I use LG. The peeling seems stop after 6-8 coats in the last half year.
