Given the [censored] fuel forced upon us, I am in the process of installing media gas filters on all my OPE, even if its just a plain lawnmower. Many are easy with 5" or 6" of exposed fuel line, but my pressure washer was a fuel line which is about 3", then a 90 degree bend and another 3".
I am using a JD fuel filter that is smaller in diameter than the generic B&S one you can buy at HD or Lowes. It just seems to fit easier. I am also avoiding the fuel filter you can get which is either white or red and is only a screen, no media. If you look through it (w/glasses) you can see its only a screen.
Others doing the same?
I also run stabilized gas year round and use a stabilizer that says on the label that it deals with E10 (pink Stabil does not mention E10).
