So you're going to give up beer then? Alcohol is known to contribute to, to trigger, or to even cause AFIB.So you probably already had a double bypass eh?
No fast food swill here; don’t want to end up like AutoMechanic
There are ~42,822 McDonald's locations worldwide; definitely qualifying for 'thing' status. Is McDonalds still a thing?
Had a weird experience today. I didn’t check carefully and sent a mobile order via the McDonald’s app. But I forgot to check the location and it sent it to the previous location that I used. It was an app deal for free fries (up to once daily) with the order of a drink, so I’m only out the $1 and tax that a small soda costs. It usually automatically changes the location automatically, but then I noticed it wasn’t the right one after I approved payment.
happened to me once and my understanding is that it's not able to be canceled and no refunds either. So I went to the wrong location.Had a weird experience today. But then I could just use my rewards points for something else free even though I placed a previous order with a coupon (BK’s app doesn’t allow a new coupon or rewards redemption for an hour after any coupon or rewards redemption). I prefer to use the kiosk at McDonald’s, but this deal is weird where the kiosk just goes to a blank screen when it’s time to choose the size of fries. I’ve only been able to use this deal successfully via a mobile order.
I asked an employee (where I was) if there was anything that could be done and he said not really. I’m not sure the order will be made if I don’t get close to the location where it was placed. But this employee said I should try canceling, but it’s too late.
Well thats the world is heading. If you use mcdonalds the app is a no brainer. No waiting at the counter. You save money every time you go there.I pretty much refuse to go somewhere where the only deals are on the app. If I can't drive/walk up and order something without futzing around with my phone for five minutes I'm just going to go somewhere else.

I feel the deals are getting more and more to be "not deals." But maybe it is genius marketing. For years (around 2015) give away free stuff all the time, get people to use the app, and years into the future, maybe 7, start pulling back the deals to almost nothing. Now, there will be loyal customers who use the app, streamlining the entire service process.
btw for those of you who feel you can always dispute things via credit card, I can tell you from experience, both JPM and BAC both denied legitimate claims where we tried to settle things thorough the merchant. Since I'm principled or so I say, I no longer use the BAC credit card. I am also a shareholder and if I ever get around to it I'll sell my shares. What a terrible bank (whenever Warren Buffet went in, I did, only I didn't get out lol)
I get those at Hardees....thick burger...No bun with lettuce wrap
And get off my lawn.....the demographics on this forum just shine some times!I pretty much refuse to go somewhere where the only deals are on the app. If I can't drive/walk up and order something without futzing around with my phone for five minutes I'm just going to go somewhere else.
