Changed the oil in our 2.7 Ecoboost F-150 at 5k miles.
Filter looks mighty good for a MC, but then again, they can't hide torn pleats on this one!
Refilled with 6 quarts of Mobil 1 5W30 and another MC filter (way cheaper than Wix or Fram on this application for some reason).
I thoroughly enjoyed changing the oil in this truck - plastic oil pan and drain plug with no tools to remove, and a 27mm socket to remove the oil filter housing. Super easy. Hardest part was changing the three o-rings on the housing, had to use a dental pick on one of them.
Just gotta remember to give it 15 minutes after refilling/starting to check the oil level! Jiffy lubes must hate this one!
