MC FL-400S Price Increase @ WM

While at Walmart today I picked up a MC FL-400S oil filter for an OCI next weekend. They are no longer $3.98. They are now $5.93.

That's almost a 50% jump in price! I think inflation is just under 10% this year?

I think Walmart is trying to make up for other losses on this price increase.

Everything is going up. Just under $6 for a filter? That’s cheap. Most are $10-15 now.

I see the FL-1A at $9.92 now at Walmart online. Was just $3.97 a few months ago.

I always thought they were a 5 dollar filter that was a steal at 4. Now at 6 given current issues I'm good with it. If you are seeing Motorcraft filters at your Walmart consider yourself fortunate. Been gone for quite a while around here.
