Well, I wouldn't be caught dead in either one, so all is good.

Which is more embarrassing? Getting caught dead or alive?

For the non-native speaker: "Would not be caught dead" means that something is so bad that even a dead person will be uncomfortable.

Driving a high power muscle car with a manual transmission is a blast!! Driving one with an auto is boring.

I used to think the same thing but I honestly enjoy the bleep out of the two auto boxes in the Chargers. They have quick, crisp shifts and will let you peddle it, get sideways....etc.

You forgot the aggressive downshifting under hard braking combined with the holding of gears while cornering hard. AND these are dated transmissions, not even nearly as good as what's out there now...

Yes, that too, LOL! I love the downshift drags it does when you are coming down a hill or stopping. It's what I'd do with a stick, so it is nice to have (this is only on the SRT, the R/T doesn't do it).
