Maxpedition Tactical Gear Retractor Review

I have to wear an ID badge at my work to get in the door etc. The belt clip retractor they currently give you is junk. Its constantly coming off my belt, or the badge is coming lose from the retractor.

Enter the Maxpedition Tactical Gear Retractor. It is a litter larger than my last retractor, but I don't think I will lose my badge any more.

Not sure what is "tactical" about that, but it is a great review (nice one-handed work), and looks like a nice item. A bit big - there is a smaller size available?

This is the smaller version. The other model is even bigger.

I felt it was a little big a first, but no one has said anything and I like not losing my badge.

I just keep my card key on the key ring with my truck key. Sorta-like a transfer switch. When I'm working. I need either one. Keeping them together, means that That I am close by. Less likely to lose. Keys make a good counter weight so, I put them in my shirt pocket and hang the badge out
