Same thing happened in the wifes toyota v6. After 2 OCI's it stayed almost clear until 4000 miles. Maxlife is great stuff. I'm going to try that seal test if I can find my old CD case.

To me it happened otherwise. When I first time used Maxlife blend 10W40 last year in June, it remained very clear for more than 1000 miles, then darkening gradually, but not being very dark when drained out. I was even a little bit worried, as I was not used with something like that. The second Maxlife synthetic 5W40 I have poured in performed differently. After 500 miles, the oil is already brown. Not dark brown, but still. Almost as brown it was the 10W40 after 1700 miles. That is true, I have added a bottle of VSOT, and it might be the reason.
Otherwise, I consider it great oil, and intend to use the synthetic 5W40 from now on.

I checked for coolant leaks and all looks fine, maybe it was a poor description of the oil on my part, normally I see thru the oil on my Tundra using syntec 0w-30, on the Jeep with maxlife its harder to see through the oil looking milky or more suspended particles.
Thanks I will take your advice, and keep an eye on it, I love this 93 Jeep 4L, wouldn't want it to fail before its time.
