Max sidewall pressure question

Just curious about one thing regarding max sidewall pressure... is that a cold measurement pressure, or a hot working pressure?

Id assume cold...

Any insight?

You assume correctly.

Every time tire pressures are quoted, it's cold - with one exception: When they are talking about pressure buildup and it will be obvious when that is occurring.

BTW, the max pressure on the sidewall isn't anything that needs to be referred to - except, perhaps, to verify you have the right tire on the car. You know - Standard Load, Extra Load, Load Range D, etc.
