Thanks Bruce! This is the stuff in my cavalier right now, thanks for running it

Edit: I have to say that the TBN is a little lower than I thought it would be, I thought it was like 8 or more. Probably will only do 5k on this. (was going to do 6, 7)

Bruce, for the TBN, is Sodium taken into account?

test limit of detectablilty is <30ppm so may have none or up to 30 ppm

TBN includes ALL alkali both metal and organic

TBN seems far too low.....listed TBN is 8.3, and you've got 2200ppm Ca and 410 ppm NA.....has to be higher than 6.2???

thats what lab got maybe changed spec data sheets are NEVER correct just "typical"

If you want to. But I trust your company and the results. Go ahead and rerun it, but I'd be surprised if the TBN was different.

I just thought with those additive amounts the test DID find, TBN would be higher, that's all.

It also depends on the testing method used. Different TBN testing methods result in different results.
