Matco Multi-Application Oil Funnel

The Matco truck started coming back to my work, and I picked one of these up last week. Did an oil change earlier and I must say is it awesome!! The price was a little high, but it covers a lot of applications that would normally be $20-30 each for the specific funnels. The Coyote 5.0L uses a goofy setup where the oil fill is at an angle with no help in pouring oil in. The angle adapter is awesome and all the parts store inside the funnel.

That looks awesome! Does it also have a narrow neck adapter for transmission fills and whatnot?

Nope, just for oil fills. I am sure they will eventually come out with a transmission one. Neither of the Mustangs that would apply to since they are manual.

I was going to buy the one on the truck from a German tool manufacturer who I forget the name of, but it was way more money.

Assenmacher specialty tools?

I was considering one of there funnels, but $50 for one engine's funnel was ridiculous

This I can almost justify the price

Ya the other was Assenmacher. It looked really nice, and if I turned wrenches for a living I would have probably purchased that one. However the Matco one is awesome, one of the better tool purchases I have made.

Works great on my Coyote, and would have been awesome on my roommate's Camry 2.2L

I've been telling this to people for years, "Matco makes nothing but tool chest." Everything else they sell is made by someone else.

How about one that holds a 5 qt. jug in place? A rectangular shape would be needed.

Why would you want to hold a 5qt jug in place? It was pretty darn secure in there so just pour and let it go. The funnel holds probably 2 quarts maybe, couldn't really check since Motorcraft 5W50 only comes in quarts.

Having it on the tool truck is like one of those impulse buys like my friend's store having a S&W M&P10 or a FN Five SeveN in stock.

No problem, I don't like to see people being taken for a ride purchasing Matco tools when in most cases you can find it from their OEM's for 1/2 the cost. We are kind of spoiled here in Ohio with so many tool companies based out of here ( Wright, Cornwell, Mac, & Matco) and I know people that work for all of them.
