Awesome, love the whine of the Packard. I watched both videos hopeing the owners put the right kind of oil in them. Would be a shame to build those engines and pour in cheap oil.

As with the Bugatti vid I posted awhile back, I'm continually surprised at how much a V16 sounds like a V8. Take a listen to this old Cadillac V16 equipped race car:

Wow. I love them! It is interesting how much a V16 sounds like a V8. The idle on that I8 is also interesting. Like a Bloopa-bloopa-bloopa

Given that they typically have two cylinders on the firing stroke at the same time, we only hear the same number of impulses as a V-8.
