I just saw a television advertisement for Marathon gasoline(s) with STP additives. That's news to me, though I rarely, if ever, use Marathon gasoline.
Marathon is based out of Findlay, Ohio and is widely available in the Buckeye state. However, they were a big user (at least 10%) of ethanol long before re-formulated fuels and emissions testing came into vogue. As such, I avoided their gasoline, as well of that of their Speedway gas stations.
Is this a new gimmick to compete with Shell's V-power? I can't say that I actually heard any of the commercial, as my remote automatically mutes anything on the tube that smacks of being a commercial!
