Another thought with Android you can block area codes in your phone (at least you used to be able to)
With apple you can limit calls to only people on your contact list, been out of android for a long time now. I used to like blocking the area codes. But now they spoof area codes so dont know how affective that is, except for the mainstream 800 and other toll free numbers
Most spam calls have stopped since the FCC cracked down on the major cell providers, we still get some, but never pick up. If it's important they will leave a message.
Sometimes for fun I will answer and listen to someone say Hello? Hello? Hello?
