Manual Trans vs Auto - Oil Consumption

Some cars, nissan 350z and G35's as examples, consume more oil in the manual versions. Enough so that there is clearly a correlation in those cars.

Since the dawn of time there has always been a significant deduction at sale time for a stick.

It's mostly because of their potential to be harder on the entire car due to the DRIVER.

It has little to do with oil consumption, but the engine does know that in a manual it's rarely handled as smoothly and consistently as an auto.

Luckily they cost significantly less when new too.
