The TR has a spin on filter conversion that uses PH3600 equivalent filters and I use Mobil1 15w-50. Car has ~46K original miles. Some very fine residue on the bottom of the can, but nothing unusual in the pleats.

Very well made filter; even pleats, tough media, no tears, gaps, etc., metal inner tube, very heavy base plate and the rubber gaskets and valves were still pliable. The relief valve is the rubber button visible at the bottom of the element, backed by a coil spring. I sometimes feel that a one year interval is a waste of these...
European made Mann & Hummels, Mahle and Hengst are my go-to filters for whatever we own where they make a filter.
